What "verified" means here
Draws are fetched by this server from New York State Open Data, validated against the dated rules and schedules of each game, and compared with the official game sites by spot check. Agreement with those sources is what "verified" means here.
Every historical draw has NOT been independently re-verified against a second official source. Automated checks cover format, eligible-number bounds, duplicates and schedule completeness; they cannot detect a wrong number that is still in bounds.
Draws before each archive start are not in this archive. An older official source for Powerball (1995 onward) is under evaluation and has not been imported; nothing is shown for dates it would cover.
When the source changes a published draw, the stored row is updated and the before/after values are logged below, so analyses can be re-run against the stated data revision.
